Ankara and its allies are on the attack. Just watch this shocking 40-second clip from a Georgetown University event yesterday. It was taped at an event shamelessly trying to re-define the Armenian Genocide as a counter-insurgency campaign, somehow attempting to cast the innocent victims of this crime as terrorist targets.

Watch and you'll see the Treasurer of the Institute of Turkish Studies, Ed Erickson, angry that ANCA Government Affairs Director Kate Nahapetian has asked him a question about the Armenian Genocide, turning to security guards and asking aloud: "Can we get her out of here!"

Kate answers Erickson: "This is not Turkey," and explains that in America, unlike Turkey, citizens have freedom of speech.

It's just more proof. We're facing a major effort to roll back a century of scholarship. A campaign by Turkey, in the months leading up to April 2015, to bury the truth, block justice, re-victimize Armenia, and consolidate the gains of its genocidal crime.
