8TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BALL
Its that time of year again when sleigh bells ring, Christmas decorations glow in store windows, and candles light the way to the  8th Annual Christmas Ball of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.  Under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian,  Primate, this “Candlelight Christmas” gathering will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Arshag and Eleanor Dickranian Complex, 3325 North Glenoaks Boulevard, Burbank.  The festivities will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a Reception and Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Turpanjian Plaza followed by Dinner and an exciting program at 8:00 p.m. in the beautifully decorated Nazareth and Sima Kalaydjian Hall.

The custom of recognizing young professional Armenian American leaders in the community will be the highlight of the evening.  Raffi Kendirjian, Chair of the Christmas Ball Committee states, “It is uplifting each year to continue the tradition created by our Primate to honor and acknowledge young professional  leaders in the legal, medical, educational, political and philanthropic fields.  Honorees are not only chosen for their achievements and success in their chosen endeavors, but for their contributions to both the Armenian and American communities.”
