Երբ արիւնահոսութիւնը անվերջ կերպով կը շարունակուի մեր սիրելի սուրիական հայրենիքին մէջ եւ երբ սուրիահայութիւնը կը փորձէ յաղթահարել ողբալի ներկայ կացութիւնը, այս տագնապին մէջ մեզ ներքաշուած տեսնելու անյաջող փորձերը դժբախտաբար կը շարունակուին:

Սուրիահայութիւնը խաղաղ գոյակցութեան երկարամեայ պատմութեան փորձով կը յայտարարէ, որ թէ° նկարագիրով եւ թէ սկզբունքով ամէն տեսակի վայրագութեանց ու արիւնահեղութեանց դէմ եղող համայնք մը կտրականապէս դէ°մ է եւ դէ°մ կը մնայ զինեալ բախումներուն:

Մեր հաւատքն է, որ միմիա°յն երկխօսութեան ճամբով կարելի պիտի ըլլայ վերահաստատել հաշտութիւնն ու խաղաղութիւնը սուրիական հայրենիքին մէջ, ապահովելով բոլոր համայնքներու համակեցութիւնըª հանդուրժողութեան, յարգանքի ու սիրոյ սկզբունքներով:

PRESS RELEASE

As the bloodshed continues unabated in our dear country, and as our communities try to cope with the tragic situation, unfortunately, what adds to our anguish are the unsuccessful attempts of presenting the Syrian Armenians as taking part in the armed battles of the current Syrian crisis or trying to actually drag them into such a crisis.

We reiterate today, that the peaceful co-existence that the Syrian Armenians have cultivated throughout the decades continues, and the Armenian community is characteristically and unequivocally against every kind of cruelty and bloodshed, and it will definitely stay against all kinds of violence and armed collisions.

The re-establishment of peace and reconciliation can only come through dialogue in Syria, and dialogue alone will insure the peaceful co-existence of all communities, based upon the principles of tolerance, respect and love.

إن أبناء الشعب السوري الأرمن يعلنون عدم انحيازهم في الأزمة التي يمر بها الوطن بالرغم من كل المحاولات المغرضة والساعية إلى جرهم نحو الفتنة.

إن أبناء الشعب السوري الأرمن، انطلاقاً من تجربتهم الطويلة خلال التاريخ، يعلنون عن إيمانهم بالعيش السلمي، وموقفهم المبدئي والأخلاقي ضد العنف وإراقة الدماء، ويؤكدون رفضهم لأي نوع من الصراع المسلح.

نحن نؤمن بأن المصالحة والسلام في الوطن السوري لن يتحققا إلا عن طريق الحوار، مما يؤمن لجميع الفئات العيش المشترك تعزيزاً لمبادئ قبول الآخر والاحترام المتبادل والمحبة الأخوية.
