Bir Barok Kutlaması: Händel ve Charpentier

Şef ve müzik direktörü Arda Ardaşes Agoşyan, çalıştırdığı iki korosunu - CorISTAnbul Oda Korosu ve Alman Protestan Kilise Korosu – bir araya getirerek, “Bir Barok Kutlaması” başlığıyla bir konser veriyor. Programda iki değerli Barok ustasının, Georg Friedrich Händel and Marc-Antoine Charpentier’nin eserlerine yer verilecek.

 CorISTAnbul Oda Korosu, Agoşyan'ın dünyada bir ilke imza atarak bestelediği ‘koro eşlikli kontrbas konçertosu’nun Türkiye'de ilk seslendirilişinde Hamburglu Ensemble Vocal ile görev aldığı ve şefinin müzik direktörlüğünde birçok başka eserin de Türkiye'de ilk seslendirilişini yaptığı için bu yılın Donizetti Klasik Müzik Ödülleri'nde Yılın En İyi Korosu dalında aday...

Alman Protestan Kilisesi korosu ise yurtiçi ve yurtdışından tecrübeli koristlerin katılımıyla yıllardır başarılı konserler gerçekleştiren proje bazlı bir koro.

Konserde bu iki koroya, Türkiye’nin ilk klasik müzik kadın orkestrası olan Feminİstanbul Kadınlar Orkestrası eşlik edecek.

Konserde ayrıca, şef Arda Ardaşes Agoşyan, Händel'in 15. org konçertosunu solist olarak seslendirip orkestrayı yönetecek.

Aralarında İstanbul Devlet Opera ve Balesi’nden konuk isimlerin de olduğu solistler Natali Boğosyan (soprano), Elif Tuğba Tekışık (alto), Caner Akın (tenor) ve Kevork Tavityan (bas).

Konserin başlığının, “Bir Barok Kutlaması” olma sebebi, hem o tarihin Händel’in doğumgününe ve Charpentier’nin ölüm yıldönümüne denk gelmesi; hem de Türkiyeli izleyiciye, ülkemizde daha önce seslendirilmeyen ya da çok az seslendirilen Barok eserlerle bir Barok ziyafeti verilecek olması.

A Baroque Celebration: Händel and Charpentier / Arda Ardaşes Agoşyan

Director Arda Ardaşes Agoşyan brings his two choirs together, CorISTAnbul Chamber Choir & German Protestant Church Choir, to share the works of two Baroque gems, namely, Georg Friedrich Händel and Marc-Antoine Charpentier with a concert entitled “A Baroque Celebration”.

CorISTAnbul Chamber Choir is a nominee for Best Choir of the Year category in this year's Donizetti Classical Music Awards, mainly for its participation in the world premiere of Agoşyan's "double bass concerto for mixed choir and double bass solo," the first of its kind, and the other Turkey premieres it gives.

German Protestant Church Choir is a project-based choir giving successful concerts with its experienced choristers from Turkey and abroad.

The choirs will be accompanied by FeminIstanbul, the first female classical music orchestra in Turkey.

The director Arda Ardaşes Agoşyan is going to perform the 15. organ concerto by Händel and direct the orchestra at the same time.

Once again, the concert features guest artists from Istanbul State Opera and Ballet. The soloists are Natali Boğosyan (soprano), Elif Tuğba Tekışık (alto), Caner Akın (tenor) and Kevork Tavityan (bass).

The concert is aptly named because it will be a Händel and Charpentier celebration on the stage, for February 23 is the birth anniversary of Händel and February 24 is the death anniversary of Charpentier.

The two choirs, accompanied by FeminIstanbul, will give the Turkish audience a Baroque feast, performing the rarely staged works of these two composers.
