Despite the crisis affecting severely France, like other
European countries, the Armenian communities have responded overwhelmingly to
the call to the generosity of filmmaker Robert Guédiguian and actress Ariane
Ascaris.
This humanitarian operation, organized by the Armenian
Fund of France, called "Phonethon", brought together in four days the
sum of €1,460 million, an increase of 4% compared to 2012, for the benefit of
Karabakh, Armenia and the construction of schools in Syria.
This year, the Armenian Fund celebrated its 20th
anniversary
