Ermenistan’dan Türkiye Cumhurbaşkanına ‘soykırımın’ yüzüncü yıl daveti/ Serzh Sargsyan invited Turkish President to Armenia on April 24, 2015

Ermenistan Cumhurbaşkanı Serj Sarkisyan, Erivan’da 24 Nisan 2015’de kutlanacak sözde soykırımın 100. yıl anma törenlerine Türkiye Cumhurbaşkanını da davet etti. Türkiye Cumhurbaşkanını resmen davet etme fırsatını değerlendirmek istediğini ifade eden Sarkisyan, “Türkiye’de yeni Cumhurbaşkanı kim seçilirse seçilsin, 24 Nisan’da Erivan’a davet ettik. Ermenistan ‘soykırım’ gerçeğini yüz yüze görüşme fırsatı buluruz.” dedi. Davetiyelerin Türkiye’nin dışında başka ülkelere de gönderildiğini kaydeden Sarkisyan, Türkiye’nin Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun suç ortağı olmaması için, sözde ‘soykırımı’ kabul etmesi gerektiğini söyledi.

Serzh Sargsyan invited Turkish President to Armenia on April 24, 2015

Yerevan, May 27, Armenpress. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan invited the President of Turkey to visit Armenia on April 24, 2015. The President made this statement during the fourth sitting of the state committee dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. "If the Turkish authorities are interested in the truth, they have to come to Armenia and be by the side of the Armenian people on April 24. I do not think that after that they will be able to speak out about visiting archives. Taking advantage of this opportunity I officially invite the President of Turkey, whoever be elected in the upcoming elections, to visit Armenia on April 24, 2015 and to face the conspicuous evidence of the history of the Armenian Genocide" – reports “Armenpress”, citing the President of the Republic of Armenia.

The President also informed that he had sent invitations to the heads of a number of states to visit Armenia in 2015, and especially on April 24, to pay tribute alongside with the Armenians to the one and a half million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, to raise a voice against the crime of genocide in general and to fix that the Armenian people not only survived these fated sufferings, but also took the path of revival.
