ՀՐԱՒԷՐ

«Գրաբարի հիմունքներ» դասընթացի նպատակն է տալ հիմնարար ներածական գիտելիքներ՝ գրաբարի քաղաքակրթական արժէքի, քերականական կառուցուածքի, գրական ոճերի եւ գործածութեան անցեալ, արդի եւ ապագայ ոլորտների վերաբերեալ։ Նոր լոյսի ներքոյ են քննուելու գրապայքարի, եկեղեցական ծիսակարգի աշխարհաբարթարգմանութեան եւ յարակից այլ հարցեր։

Դասընթացին հետեւած անձինք կը կարողանան հասկանալ պարզ գրաբարեան գրուածքներ եւ մեր ոսկեղինիկ լեզուի մասունքներ իրենց կենդանի խօսքում ինքնուրոյնաբար գործածելու ելակետային հմտութիւններ։

Դասընթացի հեղինակն Արցախի Քարվաճառ քաղաքի բնակիչ՝ հասարակական եւ գիտակրթական ոլորտներում աշխատող Ալեքսանդր Քանանեանն է։

Իւրաքանչիւր դասընթացի մաս են կազմելու գրաբարի քերականական երեւոյթների բացատրութիւններ, աշխարհաբարից գրաբար արգմանութիւններ, գրաբարեան երկերի համառօտ հատուածների վերլուծական ընթերցումներ եւ շարականների լսումներ։

Դասընթացին մասնակցելու համար բաւարար է արդի Հայոց լեզուի ազատ իմացութիւնն ու գրաճանաչութիւնը։

Մասնակիցների մեծամասնութեան ցանկութեամբ դասաւանդման համար գործածուելու է արեւելահայերէնը կամ արեւմտահայերէնը։ Բացատրութիւնների մի մասը փորձառաբար տրուելու է նաեւ գրաբարով։

Attached please find a flyer pertaining to teaching of Grabar           (Classical Armenian ), an introductory short course for those who are interested to learn or have a feeling of the Old Armenian or Liturgical Armenian language.

Classical Armenian ( Armenian, grabar, krapar in Western Armenian, meaning " literary [language] "; also Old Armenian is the oldest attested form of the Armenian language. It was first written down at the beginning of the 5th century, and all Armenian literature from then through the 18th century is in the Grabar Armenian language. Many ancient Greek, Persian, Hebrew, Syriac, and Latin manuscripts survive only in their Armenian translation. Classical Armenian continues to be the liturgical language of the Armenian Apostolic Church and is often learned by Biblical, interstamental, and Patristic scholars dedicated to textual studies.Classical Armenian is also important for the reconstruction of the Proto-Indo-European language, since it preserves many archaic features.

Short introductory courses of Grabar ( Classical Armenian ) will be introduced by Alexandre Kananyan, a dedicated scholar, public servant and a long time resident of Karvajar-Artsakh.

The first course is introduced on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Abril Bookstore in Glendale California. Subsequent courses are taught on Thursday June 4th, Tuesday June 9th,Thursday June 11th, Tuesday June 16th, Thursday June 18th, Tuesday June 23rd and Thursday June 25th.

These special courses are offered free of charge, as a public service, to the general public and all interested parties. These special lectures are organized by "Ararat" Foundation, a non profit educational and public service organization with the sponsorship of Abril Bookstore.
