Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Diocesan Primate, will visit
the mission parish of Nashville, TN, this weekend, as the community marks the
20th anniversary of its establishment. On Saturday evening, August 8, Archbishop Barsamian will
ordain Vartgez Mansourian, Armen Nadryan, and Stephan Oskian to the rank of
acolyte. Razmig Kalanjian will be ordained to the sub-diaconate. The Rev. Fr.
Abraham Ohanesian, the parish’s visiting pastor, and the Rev. Fr. Tateos
Abdalian, the Diocese’s director of Mission Parishes, will assist the Primate.
Saturday’s ordinations will be the first to be performed
in Nashville since the founding of the mission parish two decades ago. An anniversary
dinner will follow the ordination service.
On Sunday, Archbishop Barsamian will celebrate the Divine
Liturgy. A luncheon will follow badarak. For more information on these events,
