The past year was a symbolic time for Armenians around
the world, and particularly for our people in the Eastern Diocese. The accomplishments—and
triumphs—of 2015 could not have gone forward without your generous help. With a new year ahead of us, we wanted to say thank you
for your involvement and your support of the Eastern Diocese. Your personal and
material contributions, your participation at public events, and your
commitment to the church’s ongoing mission are all vitally important to
advancing the cause we all hold dear.
Thanks to people like you, the Eastern Diocese made
far-reaching strides in 2015 to provide resources that enrich and inspire
Armenian Christians throughout our local parishes.
The Diocese was also a leader in the national observance
of the Armenian Genocide Centennial in Washington, D.C., and provided outreach
on an international level to help Syrian Armenians, Coptic Christians, victims
of the Nepal tornado, the UN Refugee Fund, and our countrymen in the Republic
of Armenia.
The new year brings its own challenges, and the
continuation of the church’s ongoing work. We look forward to having you beside
us, as we pursue new projects and enlarge our mission—among our local parishes
and on the world stage.
