Bazaar co-chairs are Gregory A. Kolligian, Jr., and Ara
Hollisian, both members of Holy Trinity’s Parish Council. Along with their
committees, they have been working diligently since the summer to ensure that
this year’s bazaar offers something for everyone from the young to the
young-at-heart, including new booths and menu options.
The bazaar’s traditional favorites will include the ever
bountiful “Farmer's Market" with fresh fruits and vegetables; the super
"Country Store" with nuts and sweets; "Christmas Wreaths and
Poinsettias" with beautifully decorated wreaths and holiday poinsettias;
the exciting Sports Silent Auction, where you will be able to bid on Boston’s
favorite team tickets and sports Memorabilia; “Second Time Around;” “The Punch
is Right” for Kids; Jewelry; the Sweet Candy Shoppe; and ArmenianVendor.com. New this year is “Alex
and Ani” jewelry, and, back by popular demand, the Silent Auction offering an
array of fabulous items to bid on. The bazaar is the perfect time to do your
Christmas shopping.
Making his annual visitation to the bazaar is Santa Claus
who will be stopping by on Saturday, December 1, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., to
greet children of all ages and to pose for pictures.
The "Trinity Christmas Bazaar" would not be
complete without the scrumptious Armenian gourmet foods, delicacies and
pastries that will be sold at various booths.
Savor the delectable taste of choreg, paklava, kadayif, bourma, simit,
boreg, manti, tourshi, yalanchi, hommus, eetch, sini kufta and other gourmet
treats. Delicious Armenian dinners will be served throughout the bazaar
weekend. Friday night dinner, a choice of traditional lamb shish, losh, chicken
kebab, and combo dinners, will be served from 4 to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday dinners
will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 6 pm, with a choice of lamb shish, losh,
chicken kebab, combo dinners and kheyma.
Take-out meals and an a la carte menu will also be available.
On Saturday, December 1, "Santa's Playland"
will provide an array of engaging activities for children ages 4 to 12, from
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Peter Adamian Hall. There will be arts and
crafts activities, painting wooden ornaments, decorating Christmas sugar
cookies, face-painting, the Mystery Walk, and a separate play room for children
under 3. Carnival games will include basketball, bean bag toss, golf, washer
